Parrot Behavior Consulting
Although they are gaining increasing popularity
as companion animals, parrots are not domesticated
like cats and dogs. Your pet parrot is most likely
only a couple of generations from his wild relatives.
Parrots are a prey-species and their natural instincts
for survival cause them to be cautious in their
approach to new things. Our companion parrots
still retain a lot of their natural survival instincts.
"Problems" you may be experiencing with your
pet parrot are more than likely rooted in your birds misunderstanding of
your good intentions, and your misunderstanding of it's natural instincts for
survival. But communication with your parrot in a way that it can
understand is not only possible but actually very easy once you know the
secrets.
Call now to set up an appointment, you'll be glad you did.
Matt Edmonds has been working with parrots for over 20 years and
he understands their motives for the way they behave.
Each consultation is tailored to meet your and most importantly your bird's
specific needs. All phone consultation training packages come with a
booklet to reference if needed in between phone calls.
The booklet is filled with specific detailed instructions
on how to train your bird to be quieter, to willingly walk
into a travel crate, talk on cue, and many other helpful
behaviors.

You decide how many times you wish to call for
consultation. Each one-hour phone call is only $50.00.
After your first phone call, you'll be armed with the
information to begin a new life with your bird. You'll
have "homework" to accomplish, and once the initial
goals are met, a follow-up consultation is recommended
to iron out any problems and start working on long
term goals.
During your one-on-one consultation with Matt, he
will share with you his knowledge of these motives
and teach you how to communicate with your
parrot in a language that both you and your
parrot can understand. In addition to helping
you overcome any problems that may have
arisen, our consultation will also help you
develop your training skills using positive
reinforcement with your parrot to teach
behaviors that will help both you and your bird
have a happier, fun, and fulfilling relationship.
